Saint-François Night Market

How to get lost in our beautiful French Island, when you don’t speak a word of French? Well Saint-François night market is a place to start.

This was our first tip for our English speaking friends who sometimes decide to get lost in our beautiful French island 😀 :D!
Well cheers to you, your courage and curiosity, and welcome to Guadeloupe if you are here with us. No worries there’re a few more points of interest coming up for you, to help you enjoy those islands as much as we do.

In fact, discovering AND tasting our Caribbean fruits & veggies, spices & flavors, such as plantains, passion fruits, mango, sweet potatoes, yams, scotch bonnet chili peppers or annatto seeds for the fish court-bouillon,  are must-do’s over there.
The Saint-Francois night market every Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm is the place to go, at 8 min drive from our Villa (we’re very sharp in time, han, we know ;)).

It’s a great way to meet local people and taste Guadeloupean favorite recipes, by walking from farmers to local cooks.
It’s eco-friendly and you’ll help to sustain the local market.

Don’t forget your shopping bag!
